We I decided that we would color eggs this year with Caleb. He was pretty interested but not really able to fetch the eggs out of the cup so he needed lots of help which was fine. I think he had fun, I wish I would have had some vinegar though because the eggs came out really light colored. The eggs were hidden this morning by me while Dave got the boys dressed and ready for the hunt! It took Leland a few minutes to catch on but he did a great job for his first egg hunt. Caleb of course knew what he was doing and discovered most the eggs.
- All our eggs ready for hiding!
- Caleb on the hunt!
- Found one!
- Leland, not sure what eggactly he is supposted to do with it.
- Getting the hang of it!
- Found another one!!!!
- Now he is really getting it!
- Leland got side tracked by a stick… watch out!!!
- I tried to get a good picture of the boys together but nither of them wanted to look at the camera.
- Maybe they didn’t want to look up because of the sun…. hmmmmm not such a good spot for pictures in the morning.
- Squinty squinty
I tried to do a simi traditional Easter meal this year: Roast lamb, Matzo balls, greens and celery with onions…. I am not sure just how “traditional” it all is since I didn’t really research it, I just went by what I was told by a friend of mine and I probably didn’t even remember it all exactly. I will have to research it for next year so I can for sure say it is traditional.
